The Key Responsibilities:
- Routing of invoices, ensuring correct approvals and verifying pricing and details are accurate
- Scanning and posting invoices within the relevant systems accurately and timely.
- Reconciling AP statements and following up with vendors for missing or incorrect invoices and credits.
- Preparing payments in accordance with company policies.
- Organizing and filing financial paperwork and documents to ensure compliance.
- Regular liaison with vendors, maintaining strong and professional relationships.
- Maintain required records, reports, and files in an organized manner.
- Helping other departments when needed.
- Perform other related duties as directed or as the situation dictates.
The Model Qualifications:
- Must understand basic accounting principles and have a combination of education, training or experience that provides the required accounting knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Hospitality experience a plus.
